What is Youth Platform?

We are a group of young people working together on creative projects. We work with artists to co-design social arts projects and influence Peckham Platform’s arts programme. Youth Platform gives our members freedom and space to take part in the arts. In this way Youth Platform supports young people, particularly those currently underrepresented in the creative industries, to realise their ambitions.

Who is it for?

Youth Platform for people aged 16 – 22 who are living, working or studying in Southwark. It is open to all young people, even if you don’t see yourself working in an arts-based job.

Why join Youth Platform?

There are many reasons for you to join as we build our creative futures together. We have lots of support from people working in the creative industries, including artists, designers, producers and musicians. Youth Platform gives you the opportunity to:

  • Meet new people in your area
  • Receive mentoring from arts professionals
  • Develop your portfolio of creative work
  • Get connected with opportunities in the creative industry
  • Get help with applications for uni and jobs
