The work was created through a series of workshops exploring personal identity, gender politics and place. The young people made videos, moving image and a wall to ceiling collage. Inspired by these workshops Bauer created a multimedia installation for Frieze Art Fair 2017.

Marc Bauer studied at the École Supérieure d’Art Visuel in Geneva and attended the post-graduate program at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam.
