Bamidele Awoyemi

Artists

Bamidele Awoyemi is a designer, artist and architect of Yoruba descent based in London.

Through his passion for engaging with the overlaps in different cultures and values, his skills often see him playfully shift between mediums and disciplines to interrogate, speculate and subvert; creating spaces of gathering and nurturing everyday experiences.

2026

In October 2026 Peckham Platform invited Bamidele to be a panellist on an artist talk as part of our opening event at the Bussey Building.

Earlier in the year, Peckham Platform commissioned Bamidele to co-design new surface designs for the basketball court at the Oliver Goldsmith Estate with young people from Southwark.
